THE YOUNG RATHESTARS |

This group of young Zoroastrians based in Mumbai, India is registered under the Public Trust Act – Registration P.T. #C-1001. The Rathestars reach out to many of the needy and improvished Zoroastrian families by way of educational, medical and financial aid. Distribution of grain and other household items are also part of the project. The Gujarat Poverty Relief Project has been a successful endeavor since 1992. These volunteers have been visiting interior villages of Navsari, Nargol, Udwada, and Sanjan. They communicate with the families and register their individual needs and requests. As of 2002 the Rathestars have adopted over 50 rural Zoroastrian families that live in abject poverty in villages of Borbhatha, Mandvi and Mangrol talukas. At this time we are reaching out to you, our fellow Zoroastrians, requesting a contribution to help raise funds to make the 13th Annual Relief drive a success. Your generous contributions will help provide much needed food and other basic necessities for these families and their children.
